History

In The Beginning...

1993 The Arch-God Forbeo is born in the bowels of dark, underground cavern. (known as Dickson Computer lab) when he met "he that knows" and learned the secrets of world creating. (i.e. he met some dude when the MUD he used to play was down that showed him how to run his own MUD)

1994 The Dragon Realm is born out of the fire of a since extinct matter (otherwise known as OS/2 operating system)

1995 After numerous convulsive tries... the Arch-God with his first wife, Light, create a stable world, which soon is populated by their children.

1996 As Light dissolves back into the "void" - the original children of Forbeo and Light become infused into the fabric of the realm, forever, becoming a vital (yet un-sentient) portion of the world.

1996 The Arch-God takes a new wife and the world we now know as the Dragon Realm is truly born with the circle of life and death and the birth of their children, the "Ancient Dragons." (i.e. got all new coders that went on to become the archs and admins of the mud)

The Dark Years

Dragon Realm had many comings and goings, and for a few years the MUD went offline due to hosting issues. During this outage, technology changed such that bringing the mud back to life would be a chore.

Rebirth

In 2011, Joe approached Forbeo and offered to host the MUD once and for all and work diligently to get it back into running order.
